This individual is very interesting to me in several ways. Thomas was found in Somerset, MD as a witness to Phillip Covington, Somerset Co., MD (22 Jan 1732) 17 Mar 1732/3). When and where he was born is not known. He married Eleanor Covington dau of Phillip Covington and Eleanor Gale in Somerset Co., MD. Thomas's Will was made 30 Jul 1748, Dover, DE.
The next interesting point is that William Blewett of NC married Sarah Garton in the Old Swedes Church, Dover, DE. He later settle on the Great PeeDee River in NC. Where we find several of the Covington Family of Somerset Co., MD area now in Anson and Richmond Counties, NC.
Is their a connection between Thomas Blewett of MD and DE and William Blewett of DE and NC? Were they Brothers? or Could William be the son of Thomas? William and Sarah's first child was Thomas.
